The term conclusive research is used in two senses in the literature. In the first sense, it is a simple adjective used to describe the weight of research results either
- positively as in this morning sickness study
- negatively as in this [PDF]dietary study
In a second sense, the term is used in Marketing Research to differentiate two separate stages in the research process
- the exploratory stage with its
- and the conclusive stage which includes types of research. In itself it does not seem t be used to describe any type of research other than in a general way or as an overarching heading for a category of subtypes of research.
