“Indirectly Direct” ( ) [Sun Tsu First Half Re-Write # 7:3]

Perception of both space and time can be distorted here;
If one’s aware of how it’s done, he’ll find his way made clear;
To be obstructed in one’s path is pain, I must admit,
But scoot old Satan and his ilk, and make short work of it.

Like, lure him with much greater loot, than you might be home;
Have him diverted, take some time, while you don’t dawdle, roam
Around the countryside, no way – get in and get ’er done,
And by the time that he finds out, you’re back, and having fun.

So as I think about all this, I think how easily
Folks are diverted, good and bad, and that’s including me;
For all this works both ways, of course, the evil and the good
Exist within same universe, “Same choice” is understood.

So getting to the battlefield without a lot of pain
Results in room to move at end, which changes out the game;
For good that’s done, and care, that’s given, and love that’s shown by Christ
Through us, without a hassle, suits me fine – and can suffice –

To do the trick – at least I need not think these great moves up;
But rather, stay attuned to Christ, respond (though sometimes rough);
So thank You, Lord for this fine day, and chance to have some fun,
As we become Your hands and feet, and at Your bidding run.

Thanks Lord for this.
