“The Secrecy” [Reflections on Sun Tsu's Art Of War #13-1–C6 and 2]

When five approaches to the job of spying
Are set in motion for commanders, kings,
The enemy cannot discern their presence,
Or know how each can valued-service bring.

For no one knows their Tao of operation,
How they’re employed, take action in their ways;
As work is simultaneous and active,
Their secret systems do the work that pays.

Of all relations with the King, Commander,
There’s none more intimate than with the spies;
There’s no reward that’s greater than for agents,
No actions hidden more from prying eyes.

When this is run in separate secret units,
With no one person privy to it all,
There is no single key to operations,
Which guarantees this system will not fall.

For it’s the eyes and ears that makes for safety
In life on earth outside the garden walls;
There’s been that need since Adam took his apples,
And went his way – in Bible, called “The fall”.

Lord, that was not the life You had intended
For people You created at the first;
But that’s the scene – as well, there’s Kingdom-layer,
That we might live when mankind’s at its worst.

It seems we cannot fathom Your awareness
Of anything in life that satan does;
But knowing that, and using Spirit’s guidance,
Tells us to real-ize Your long-term cause.

For You see places evil can be halted,
And stomped on, situations giving space
Where life through Jubilee can make for freedom,
Regardless of confinement in this place.

Lord, thank You for Your presence on this planet,
The universe where we can also go;
Thanks for Your Kingdom-layer we can live on,
Relying on Your life we’ve come to know.

Thanks Lord for this.
