The Proper Use Of Power (Sun Tzu Chapter 5 Overview) (John 5:3-5; 19:30; Revelation 19:1-10; 1 Corinthians 12:27-31)

The power here – what truly counts –
Is boulder size upon an ounce
Of fragile egg shell – not one man
But body-life, as union can –

Do more than we can as one part,
Though life together is an art –
An art of war, or art of peace,
Together power can be released.

When weaknesses are focused on,
Momentum then is dropped upon
That lesser strength, a win’s achieved
And victor’s crown is thus received.

Unorthodox, the clever part,
Is used to victory impart
But base is still the orthodox –
Their weakest point is hit with lots –

Of force before they can adjust,
Their little bit is hit with much;
Held the back, released with careful time;
The troops well trained to weakness find.

Through subterfuge and subdivide,
One’s weaknesses it’s good to hide;
Then build a scene like mountainside
Where troops like logs and stones abide –

Until released with thunderous roar;
Momentum used for what it’s for –
To carry men of average state
Beyond themselves to victory make.

The roaring sound of multitude
Sounds in our ears when fortitude
Melts hearts – we think we’re all alone
Then others see in battle zone.
