"Leona's Book"  [Reflections On Book Powerlines by Leona Frances Choy - Overall Book , 25/25]

Leona Choy, who wrote this book for us,
Has introduced some themes of Spirit’s touch
As we mature in Christ’s photography
That’s carried out in light of what we see.

I read three times (at least) as years went by,
Each time in ways held up before my eyes
Which I could hear – lives of some other men
And women – bidding me, “Begin again”.

First time (I think) was in the heat of war,
As town collapsed, old life as lived before
No longer worked, as agri-business crashed;
“Feed feeders, Stu” emerged as needed task.

Next time (01) – I’d started MRD
To learn the score, see what was there to see,
That feeding task of front-line clergy staff
Might helpful be – thus do as Spirit asked.

Third time emerged – “Discernment is your gift
I think, my friend, through you the Spirit lifts
Us clergy-folks – thus raising better ways
Of doing life – hear what the Spirit says.”

And now, this new distinction has emerged
For “Works of Power” just works – and I observed
In books I wrote my people don’t do that –
Which means for me – discernment’s where it’s at –

I needed talk – to learn what was the score
In people’s lives when blocked, could do no more;
Then through that scene watched Spirit blow a hole
So they escape, and into freedom go.

My task now shifts, as photos focus take,
That Spirit’s flow through pictures I create
In Him might heal, set free in Jubilee –
These poems help upcoming process see.

Thanks Lord for this.
