"When All's Laid Out"  [Reflections On Book Powerlines by Leona Frances Choy - Chapter 22 , Lewis S. Chafer #22/25]

When all’s laid out from and to end,
From “A” to “Zee”, we comprehend
The well-spring of internal pride
On which the T-R’s take their ride.

It’s better-, worse-, it matters not –
At some key point, once it is sought,
We find its T-R presence there –
Some inner pride, which needs repair.

Our other gifts each have their day
As we have other gifting pay
For us and our agenda cruel,
For which we need not go to school –

For if we did we’d teach the class
Or should – for we would know, alas,
Far more than most (in arrogance)
That we from God were heaven sent.

But Holy Spirit’s task in each
Is unity in Christ – we reach
A point as perfect isolate
Then die unless “communicate” –

Is what we do – let others in –
No life in Christ can there begin
Unless we die to self, let Christ’s
New life begin, set things aright.

Dogmatic folks drive others nuts –
Thus “fundamentals” cause a fuss;
When “orthodoxy” is defined
As “Doxy” that, of course, is “mine”.

Each attitude in life we hold
Will shine through words and photos sold
(Or given) to unwitting folks –
Including all our spoken jokes.

Lord, as I move from here today,
Just purify my heart; I pray
That You might through my work impact
Each viewer’s heart with what each lacks.

Thanks Lord for this.
