"Abundance" [Module#373]  (Matt.26:14-16; Mark 14:10-11; Luke 22:3-6)

Abundance has its issues
In circumstance and gifts;
A life of dissipation
Is often where it drifts.

Decisions have their issues,
They play out over years;
A good road or a poor one
Has challenge mixed with tears.

Our origins have issues,
Each hand a winner is,
Or loser to a player –
It’s more than luck in biz.

Our circumstance has issues,
Hard choices must be made;
Like Judas ’fore the garden,
Our past’s in present played.

Our giftings all have issues,
Each strength is weakness too;
How we address the downside
Is often hard to do.

But when it comes together,
Our when, and what, and who,
Our fullness of maturing
Is visible to You –

And also to our neighbors;
Most clearly to ourselves;
Lord, in this time of seeing
Abundance also tells –

Us of a new tomorrow,
Of life which moves from here;
New life on Kingdom-layer,
And world beneath made clear.

Lord, as each life progresses,
Help us stay open to
Your grace and guidance pouring
Into our lives in You.

Thanks Lord for this.
