The term "Prospective Research" is used in a variety of ways:
- as and adjective, meaning "upcoming"research for some person or group
- meaning a research work currently in progress
- as research separate from experimental research
- as a synonym for experimental research in Psychology
- as research which measures subjects repeatedly over time (i.e. as an antonym for retrospective research).
Whatever it is that is being done, there seems to be a lot of people doing it.
