“Vacuity” may not be such
When from a distance viewed,
While “Substance” may be more than talk
When life has been renewed.To keep the outward forms reversed,
To outside view that is,
Can be an asset of one’s strength,
As often done in biz.But then again, “Reverse” is true –
Psychology can play
A role in obfuscating truth,
And thereby save the day.So flaunt the truth to spook the foe
Who thinks, “He’s not that nuts” –
(He is, in fact, but hey, that’s great!)
The tactic takes some guts.Lord, I’m amazed at how the truth
In world of constant lies,
Can be a cover for one’s acts
(Though later you’re despised.For no one thinks that truth is told,
Especially when stakes
Are high, and loss can mean the end
Of all – which winner takes.But “Value” and the “Price” of things
Are independent “Facts”,
Which lets one walk the walk of truth,
Quite openly to act.“So occupy the space of ‘Truth’
With Me, there, Stuie babe;
Substantial and the vacuous
Are basis I have laid –“But who’d a thunk it? Walk right in –
Just walk the talk of truth;
Don’t worry ’bout how things are seen,
I’m Life and Truth and Route –“Into the Kingdom-layer folks seek
(“Restrictions still apply”),
So ’bide in Me, and I in you,
And here’s the reason why –“It’s win or lose, you give Me space
To do My work within
The hearts and minds of all those folks
Who wish they could begin –“Again, and have that richer life
Than they have known to date –
So when confronted with My truth,
They’ll come – not hesitate.”Lord, thanks for that, I quickly lose
Perception of the truth
That You’re the one who active is,
Fulfilling our pursuit –Of better life, less evil mess
To cope with every day;
So role of “Heaven’s kiss” through me
Is opening up a way –For You to act – not “Win or lose”
As such, for You’re not trapped,
If we strike out three times of three
Each time we come to bat.Thanks Lord for this.
