“An Atmosphere Of Evil” (Jn.15; Matt.3:10;1Cor.15:24-28)
I had not seen it quite this way,
How evil spirit can hold sway
Within a ruling center, class,
Or civil service – be quite crass.It’s not the people – they conform
To institutions’ given norm,
And play along or lose their jobs,
As unions handle ruckus mobs.But evil is quite thick in there;
Sun Tzu indeed addresses care
Of those who need a rescue crew,
When evil stops what they can do.Lord, like a forest’s made of trees
All institutions, if you please,
Are inter-linked in subtle ways,
From time we’re born ’till ending days.At least I see what “other side”
Is striving at, no need to hide
With Trump at top, his cronies laugh;
Quite merciless – corrupt their staff.But it is also different there –
They also think it’s people – care
That they should win, as “Righteous” side,
But they’re, as well, on for the ride.It’s more just evil’s “flavored ways” –
Not “Good” or “Bad” each human says
The other side is into – no,
It’s attitudes each spirit knows.Lord, this is huge – beyond belief!
It’s vast expanse beyond relief
From forces of the world, I see;
It’s root has fruit, in part, in me.Both liberals, conservatives
Grow in the soil as other does –
The “Soil” is “Evil”, where the roots
Are nourished, whence comes evil fruit –Or vegetables – two classes, those
But the soil’s the same, and goodness knows
They look attractive from outside;
Hence Your advice – “In Me abide”.Thanks Lord For This.
