“Take My Yoke...” (ref: Matt.11:28-30; Chap.12)
“Take My yoke upon you”, Jesus said,
O Holy Spirit, by whom I am led,
“My yoke is easy, burden light so you
Will find soul’s rest in Me, in work you do.“So learn of Me” – the path laid out in task
(Anne’s Acres where we’ll land) – do as I ask;
The Spirit leads you both; so ’bide in Me,
As I’m in you, there, midst the Sun Tzu sea.“Don’t speak against the Holy Spirit, Stu;
For through His power, you My work will do;
As Father-God above assigned My task;
In Me you will fulfill what I’ve been asked."Lord Jesus, this transforms the task ahead,
For I can't fathom words You just have said;
The work assigned is not “my” task to do,
But “Yours” – sounds like I’m back once more at “school”.“That’s what I meant, there Stuie babe, by “learn”
From Me, your Lord and Master – how you’ll earn
Your keep as minister, out on the hills,
Attending sheep, as I do Father’s will.”Okay Holy Spirit thanks for this.
