“Prosperity With Righteousness”

We talked about my posting then,
As best I could describe it;
It lumpy was I must admit,
But joy – I couldn’t hide it.

“Beats me”, I said, “Like Abraham
You are, ‘Head west’ God told him”
I laughed, “And told, and told again;
Cajoled, and had to scold him!”

I spoke of Grandpa, George and Bank
Of Canada – he grasped it;
How hard to fix our legacies –
God will, once we have asked it.

“Toronto slum had bad effect”,
George said in conversation;
“Did it get fixed in family?”
In part, midst all relations.

So there it is again, again,
Compassion trumps the Giver;
With care of planet uppermost
(Trumps cash by just a sliver).

Resolving that (re-Babel gift)
Is key to resolution;
I see a bit of it now, Lord –
Your “antidote” solution.

The focus is not end-times part
For me, more “present matter”,
And this has opened up a door
To marketplace (in tatters).

“Stu, don’t forget to use the tool,
And let the others copy;
Just satisfice it best you can,
They’ll fix it if it’s sloppy.”
