“The Apostolic Ministry”

To ‘prototype a paradigm’ is what these people do;
So Barker claimed – they bet the farm to ‘prove’ it out for you;
They don’t see more than vagueness, hunch, but ‘know because they know’
The essence of some paradigm will soon begin to show.

The older types, careers intact, and based upon old ways,
Have all to lose if they concur, so stick with form that pays;
But these guys know they’ve nothing got to lose if they push in
To strange and scary swamps of doubt and fear – so just begin.

I thought at first, Sun Tzu Untwisted was my focus task;
But no, tha’s just a part of it, supportive part in fact;
It’s Apostolic Ministry I need to prototype,
As it’s emerged two decades past, to see if it works right.

Go in and forage off the land, possessed by you know who;
Two years I’ve got to work that out – context of work I do;
For “having gone – disciple” is instruction we were given
By You, Lord Jesus; You’d be there – bring salt, and light, and leaven.

Sun Tzu Untwisted is the plan laid out for us to do;
We enter in some neighborhood, as we now follow You;
In silence, watching, being alert, like Spies For God", indeed –
Four segments, of three chapters; chapter 13 each part needs.

Unless the Lord builds up the house, those folks who labor there,
Labour in vain throughout their lives, despite how much they care;
We follow inter-actively, like Andrew Murray says,
In School Of Prayer With Jesus Christ – as this new pathway lays.
