“Rest”

How wonderful to be at rest;
Week’s work (for most part) was addressed;
I stopped and let the world go by,
And to myself addressed my “hi”.

Not perfect, but relief was swift;
That guy was right oft' times a gift
We can pick up, step back and say,
“How peaceful this place is today”.

So, thank You Father-God for this –
Amazing rest which gave that lift,
So I could enter in this week
Refreshed, as we Your Kingdom seek.
