An army’s leader is the man
Upon whose acts the country stands;
In charge of lives; survival holds
In skillful hands through actions bold.An arbiter of people’s fate;
Life-Guardian of nation’s gate;
Holds lives and safety of his folk,
Their peace and peril are his yolk.He rules the state’s society,
As master of their fate they see
Endangerment or calm support;
May he be one of good report.Son Tsu, Sun Tzu, perceiver men,
Such parallels we see again:
Between two nations Sun Tzu wins;
