Opening Moves (Romans 8 – General)
As we conclude this chapter in three weeks,
I start to grasp the answer which I seek:
“Why this – pulled from the center of one book –
As opening-move to at this chapter look?”Oh yeah, I’ve known it all quite central is,
But not so much for me and current biz;
At least, that was my view until today;
I’m not so sure – as it begins to pay –Rich dividends drawn from some terms in Greek;
So slow we’ve gone, it’s forced digesting meat;
There’s plenty there – for though I’ve read those words,
We rendezvous in life, fresh Spirit heard.For here within these verses challenge comes,
Confronting, shifting routes as on it runs
From week to week, as all my daily round
Continues on, verse pops up – life is found.So thank you Lord, for serendipity;
For road that’s new, and thoughts I could not see;
As Word and life engage, fresh thoughts appear
Confusing parts engage – emerge as clear.navigation
