“Day One Posting”
Okay, my Lord, this is day one
(I understand, it’s now begun);
I tried to put the poem shtick
But after one, sensed, “best you quit”.For that is more “Photography –
Not two-year stint assigned to thee”;
So where to now O Father-God?
This all, to me, seems rather odd.“It’s okay, Stu, it’s ramp-up time,
So July 1 you will do fine.”
Ah! – Phone call from the CU folks
My “S.I.N.” was wrong (gave right to folks).So that’s task one on first step out;
Quite simple there – best I awoke
I checked my details carefully;
I make mistakes – oh silly me!So what comes next, O Father-God,
Where does one start, on yonder sod?
Am I to go make cash online?
Or fix the GST that’s mine?“Stu, it’s a mess you need to fix,
The government is scrambled mix
So best to try to get things straight,
Then go ahead income make.”Like how, O Lord, do I do that?
A mess it is, that is a fact;
But I’m not business-type I see
It’s just a garbled mess to me.“Then Stu, start out on salary,
Or ‘work for hire’, don't hero be;
Just be a bloke employed online,
And you can function there just fine.”Okay Holy Spirit thanks for that.
