“The Anti-Social Media”
It just takes two, to be abused;
As digital is tool that’s used,
“Communication” lacks “-ity” –
What we had once, we left for “me –Myself, and I,” – self-centered rats,
Way bigger than the alley-cats
Who keep the rodent numbers down;
So there’s no check – just look around!A mess this is, but what the heck
It’s “ours”, we traded off our best
And brightest aspects of our life,
For world torn up, and left as wrecked.So, Father-God and Spirit too,
Lord Jesus Christ, what need we do
To turn all this back on it-‘self’
Put Genied-bottle back on shelf?“Good question, Stuie-babe, so here
We go again – to make it clear –
There is no way folks can aspire
To be at one, as they desire –“If there’s no way to breach “the wall”;
It cannot be – it’s ten feet tall,
And smooth as glass, no hand-hold seen;
Titanium – and so it’s been –“Since Babel days – the sleeper play
Is Me – the Christ – God’s living way
Through barriers as if not there;
Evangelize; potential’s prayer.“You think that business is ’bout cash;
It’s not – nor even ’bout one’s stash –
Alone on island it’s no good;
“Community” is under-stood –“To be the social-sport we need
For cash to work, as tool or seed;
So antisocial actions wreck
The route to wealth – to give and get.“Your global village” is a myth
That’s not sustained, for there’s a gift
Creator Father gave to use –
At Babel (cost, when ‘self’ you choose).“When God’s not at the center, Stu,
Cash doesn’t work – it makes abuse,
Coercion, anti-social shtick;
