“Doubling Up”
O Holy Spirit, what the heck!
You showed me something that I’d wrecked
By using in a worldly way,
But here I’m viewing older way.Not really old, but older yet,
Pre list of those “begats-begets”
Not “multi-tasking” in world’s sense,
But “multi-purpose” work, and hence –I get a double credit thus,
Like conversations on a bus –
Two things transpire; time is enhanced,
By multi-purpose fancy-dance.So far I notice book-taped walk;
Or chores the same – narrator talks;
Or courses in the treadmill time;
Both parts Impact the chart of mine.Not actions two within one slot,
But purpose added, “walk the talk”;
So “social exercise” can be
Like church is – man with God (that’s me)So thank-You Holy Spirit, thus,
With time now short, there’s far less fuss
About all this if I just thought
About how I might walk with thought.Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
