“Spin Again – Begin Again”

I’m not sure why I’m spinning ’round,
O Holy Spirit – it’s profound;
But somehow I’m so gullible
That all my life is trouble-full.

I hear gurus on YouTube’s spiels;
Believe their words – they make me feel,
“I could do that” – “there is my key
To happiness” – “Oh goodness me!”

But then a flaw I see in such,
Like Stephie, Upwork, Roadmap – much
To my chagrin I crash and burn;
Experiences how I learn –

But this is costing me the farm;
I do my books – see how it harms
Ability to tend my fam,
With endless growth in who “I am”.

“Stu, it’s okay, just press on in;
You need a place you can begin,
But this takes you to starting out
Your way, your place, without a doubt –

“Where we will end up’s in your space,
With so much of value you will place
Into folks laps, as Luke described –
It overflows their cups – besides –

“The world is changing – what you knew
Will all be gone – so ‘new to you’
Is what you’re good at, not ‘old hat’,
So specialize in doing that.

“Like, think about how you prepared
To start Anne’s Acres – getting there
Was great palaver, ruckus ways
To start out there in future days.”

Lord, I’d not thought about all that!
“Stu, camping skills are where it’s at –
The bivouac, or tenting life
You learned when young, set life up right.

O Lord, that’s awesome, but of course!
It all makes sense, use of resource;
Live off (or in) the place you’re in,
But down-side-up’s ‘how to’ begin.

“Stu, this will now take center stage;
As you prepare to land, engage,
It will be lighter, you’ve prepared
To start once more – you’ve got a flair –

“For starting over, you’ve done well
In situations straight from hell;
Faith and your camping-skills you’ll bring
Into your family-life – begin –

“By using that as core of piece
You need as mini-focus – ‘niche’;
Don't worry – impact seed with soil
Is interactive-piece of toil.

“Stu, that’s your unifying piece –
Which gives you, like the rest, release
To run full stretch – ‘Apostle first’
You know about, cause culture’s worst –

“Goes back to Babel’s allergy
Your TCK has guided thee
From long before your birth, back when
You lived it out – began again –

“As you moved on, and on, for years,
You felt the loss, then won through tears;
Your sister was more ‘farewell’ locked;
But you had roads to future blocked.

“So, Stu, re-frame it all just now;
See how it all plays out, somehow,
Informed by camping skills ‘one match –
Survive in bush with tarp and axe’.

“Show faith expressed in Sunset hymns –
How storm, by candle-light begins
With stories, family, cozy beds,
All tucked in tight, as parents read.”

O Holy Spirit, now I see,
What’s coming up, with clarity;
Thanks for tonight, as I move out,
Still gullible – but with less doubt.

Thanks Holy Spirit for this. Indeed, thanks!
