Precision is not good for me
At the best of times – especially
When sleep deprived, or up too late –
It’s hard for me to concentrate.Like posting backlog-poems to
My website, there I’d be a fool
To mess around with the layout code;
I did – and bought into a load –Of trouble I could not foresee,
But it came down on top of me;
So, books and finance-work as well
Are like such code which on me fell.Well, Holy Spirit, think I’ve learned?
Like: poem-prayers, which I had spurned
As lesser value to real ‘work’?
Or is it just I’d be a jerk –To chase my ‘hero state’ once more
For adulation I adore!?
I like to see myself as not
But when I look, I see it’s talk.O Holy Spirit what is this?
“It’s not all bad, but Heaven’s Kiss
Is ‘how’, and ‘why’, and ‘what’, and ‘where’;
While ‘who’ is you expressing there –“My messages to other folks –
Like ‘humor pictures’ – ‘photo jokes’,
To help their meds in work they do;
My silent, absent, work through you.”Okay Holy Spirit, Thanks for This.
