“The Vibe”

I washed the car before I went
To see the doctor (urban bent);
She asked to “Sense the vibe in there”;
Unsure quite why, I then prepared –

To give the vibe she wanted more –
A shift to culture she adores;
She never left there through it all;
To me the scene of former squalls.

The city’s changed around that part
She loved since just a kid – the start
Was built upon in better ways,
Than base for me with bitter days.

So it’s complex – both ways, now gone,
Are hardly rocks to build upon;
O Holy Spirit, lead aright
Through coming storm to future bright.

Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
