“What Of The Taxes?” (Island In The Sun (Tzu) Series)

So what of taxes, O my God?
To pay them willingly seems odd
To those around me, help me see
The role they’ll play, most willingly.

“Okay there Stuie babe, let’s go –
First there’s perspective you should know –
They’re there to keep a lid on things;
Pray for the peace good order brings.”

Okay, so where does tax fit in?
“In paying folks to order bring;
They work out best way they can think
To fund such services – then ink –

The rules and guidelines for you all;
Cooperate, let Commons stall
Or push the parts in their debates,
To make things work for country’s sake.

“So go and ask them for advice,
And guidance; in all ways be nice;
It’s hard for them to do their tasks
When folks engage in needless sass.”

Okay, O Holy Spirit, thanks,
I’ve lots to learn ’bout taxes, banks;
“Stu you don’t have to work alone,
Use team-affect, and team-skills hone.

“Take Michael Gerber and his folk –
Apply their insights, lighten yoke
You bear for “Caesar-image” part,
Then we can work in peace – or start –

“At least, along that road to wealth;
Be quite up front – avoid the ‘stealth’
Folks use in these two cases now,
And find My Way ‘on earth to dwell’.”

Okay Holy Spirit thanks for that.
