And second was attentiveness;
Enthusiastic when they came;
Supportive more than just in name.And happy to be there, of course,
Not like on PD days where forced
To be there if they want their cheque,
When it’s a pain to them in neck.“PD” to me says “adult folk”
“Professionals” (in teacher yoke?)
Good judge of character, mature;
Not swept along by fake allure.Emotions range from board to keen;
Not “flat” or non-responsive – seen
To show their curiosity
To colleagues – “Reciprocity”.Not “feelings” – “intellectual”;
One of my tribe – if it’s done well,
Show I belonged, shared worthwhile things –
“Its value, substance, this one brings.”Not ones you need to win at start;
More, “Yours to lose” – if you impart
Some aspect of good quality,
You’ll hold their curiosity.So there you have it – that’s who’s there;
Forget the rest – do not compare
Yourself to others – “cozy world”
Is big and bustling – call them, girl!Thanks Holy Spirit For This.
