“Commandment Seven – The Way Forward” (Ezekiel 18:30-32)
It’s in this passage, O my Lord
I hear your integrating word –
My forward way, like Sandy Lake,
At start of Run Through – then to take –You at Your Rhema-Word to me
That “future and a hope” might be;
And so it’s been, up to this point –
This posting which you now anoint.For pride and arrogance for me
Have caused my fall repeatedly;
My grasping for ways to succeed
Has sown poor economic seeds.No virtue from my father’s ways
Indeed is mine – so future plays
Into the hands of satan here,
Unless I sep’rate choice make clear.It’s up to me to choose my way,
Not sometime hence, but here, today;
I had not seen it quite as clear
As I do now – in Word seen here.So this is ’bout my own choice now –
“Left father, mother” – in my vow
“To cleave to wife”, step forth and be
The man designed for her by Thee.“Stu, here you are, fresh start once more;
The road ahead quite clear – before
You venture forth (‘Anne’s Acres’ space)
Be clear on this, in any case:Okay, O Father-God, I see
My post ahead – “Abide in Me
And I in you” cannot transpire
Until I bond with “my desire”.So thank You Holy Spirit – here,
I sense my road ahead made clear;
Be with us now, as we step forth
Here in this land – “our frozen North.”Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
