“Drift” (Proverbs 1-9, passim)

I noticed in the AI piece
The “drift” in it, with time, increased
Until it was quite comical;
A glitch in beta they’d best fill.

And then again this morning’s read
In Proverbs, “drift” in me which leads
Me off the beaten path of God
Is there amongst us men of sod.

In “Wisdom” Lit I sensed unease –
Perhaps translators, out to please
Their readership amongst their flocks
“Hear” words of text, through Tommy-rot –

They perpetrate in Western climes
Where “Capital” has seized their minds
To such extent it crowds out life
And Wisdom’s Lamp’s-life-giving light.

So Scripture, there to challenge drift,
Is really bad in “Wisdom Lit”,
For it’s complex, a puzzle-piece,
Unpacked each age, to truth release.

All Scripture has translator’s stamp
But Wisdom Lit’s a tricky ramp
To walk up into truth’s domain –
“Fear of the Lord” helps “drift” to tame.

“Drift” in translators, “drift” in text,
“Drift” in us readers – second-best
Is name of game today for all
Indeed for world’s in satan’s thrall.

“So learn the Hebrew or the Greek;
Or gather texts, compare, and tweak
Your comprehensive grasp within
Translators’ dance twixt truth and sin.

“Or, better still, draw Spanish text
(Denominations’ works), to test
For bias in translators’ tomes,
To bring God’s truth back to our homes”

At best, it’s more and “art” they say –
Translators need to “watch and pray”
Lest they fall victim to the lure
Of what’s not meant by God – for sure!

So what to do about all this?
“Stu, different parts of text, don’t miss
The same points, for some parts are sound;
Use them to test what here is found.

“For Luke and James, par excellence,
Are ‘Giver’ types, not on the fence
At all about the finance world,
Which beats to plow-shares Sun Tzu’s swords.

“So that’s a part of task ahead
For you twixt now and time you’re dead;
Begin, and learn to YouTube use
As channel for My Spirit’s views.

“Do not expect it to do that,
Or even permit it once fact
Of its existence comes to light –
They will be crushed by satan's might.

“But that’s a part of game of life
Where truth and falsehood tussle – tight
Are margins in this war of words,
So know the world, then onward go.

“Sun Tzu Untwisted is a guide
To ways of business-life inside
The business-culture of the West,
Where you are now – to life address.”
