“Done – Together”

Okay, O Holy Spirit – done!
Just five short months since we’d begun
To do the turn on “final” leg
To make our move to “Winnipeg”.

“Anne's Acres”, yes that's true as well,
And culture-shift so far is swell;
But Winnipeg’s in target range
For landing – four months out – quite strange

I’m glad it’s not me, setting down
With all these aspects till the ground
Is touched upon, with roll-out sweet
And we our new adventure meet.

So, Holy Spirit, here we go
Four months till then, and off we go
“Say, Stuie babe, check market out
For books and games – without a doubt –

“A wild and woolly enterprise
For you and Carol – don’t despise
Those small beginning-steps forthwith,
For on this posting I insist.”

Okay, O Holy Spirit, hence
I will engage in You – de-fence
Is not a place where I will be
As we take island in Tzu’s sea.

You brought us safely here thus far
As song attests, and will, by Gar
Take us to place where we should be
On island in the Sun Tzu sea.

This Shabbat as I now step back
Assess what transpires pre-attack,
I trust Your guidance as we go
Into this battle-plan You know.

I know we’re pushing envelope
As we into this future grope,
But trust as well that you know best,
And will into our life invest.
