“As Trudeau Moves On”

Well Lord, we're on – it's shifting time,
As Justin moves along the line,
So other hands can step in now,
And fresh ideas rise somehow.

It's been a merry dance I'd say,
As liberal thought has had its sway;
Conservatives now take the plow,
And cut fresh furrows as allowed.

Well, Justin, you held forth throughout
Two presidents in land to South;
But now we'll get a double wham
Like you and Biden in your time.

It's hard to say which will be worse –
Quite similar you were – reverse
To Donald, but far to the left
Is problematic – with its cleft –

Unseen by parties who do "nice"
Above the business-types' advice;
But polarized is how things are
In world of ice and snow, by Gar.

Through Justin we heard mother's voice,
Far more than dad's, who's tougher choice
Kept right-ish views in check with "rights"
Enshrined, which kept them in plane sight.

So Justin, thanks for decades past;
As you move on, impacts will last
And balance out through passing years,
As world adjusts through shifting gears.

Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
