“Regression Line ’Midst Chaos”

Well, Holy Spirit, Father God, and Jesus, only Son–
I'm quite buzzed out from colon test (a process just begun);
It's waiting time for test results, eyes also checked this week;
Skin test’s postponed ’till March sometime, not for fainthearted, weak.

The furnace crapped out yesterday, get new one here this morn;
This house has run its course for us, as new age has been born;
For Trump is at the helm through crash the World Bank fellow told
Those Stanford grads back in ’07 – “just-us” his outlook bold.

Lord, Stephie had her precious day, marked thirty years as wed,
Just yesterday – no “Q and A” – at least that’s what she said;
Bolt’s not so good – gone silent, seems, as he’s mis-understood;
Arthritis in my hands it seems, shows health is not so good.

AI’s detracted from the path which Lucas wants to tread;
And Jesse’s had a glimpse of future, least that’s what she’s said;
And Connie's course is going well, her first success has come;
While Graham, Nancy, and her kids, new journeys have begun.

A few days makes it 17th, the time when Patty called
A friend upon the balcony as into phone she bawled;
Nico is doing better in his ex-pat school (grade 3),
As Jamie navigates fine line to see what life can be.

As Carol tries “subscription” base to move into the next
Wee bit of online teaching, through which her retirement’s blessed,
I pondered this kaleidoscope of swirling, twirling, bits,
And focused on the landing-field, midst sea in which it sits.

For anchor line’s “regression points” along where all now are;
It’s “chaos theory” some have sensed for all both near and far;
Once one has sensed my central thrust, like fine regression line,
One senses there’s a freedom here in life, and makes out fine.

O Holy God, I see it now – regression lines can shift,
As new points show up on the grid, not just the points we’ve missed –
But new events which now transpire, and leave their marks in time,
Effects upon the calculus which shift regression lines.

“It’s OK, Stu, just persevere, it all works in the end;
Just do your part in faith-fullness, as this plane now descends
Into a wonder-world for you, the others get their dues;
Though all of this is new to you, to past now bid adieu.

“For you can’t hold both worlds as one, I am that central line
Which center points to all the other chaos points in time;
Past, present, future, on the grid runs constant (not so you,
Or all the rest) – which freedom gives to be outliers viewed.

“You played that role of “anchor man” to Carol and the boys
But in reality ’twas me through you, midst chaos, noise;
For I held you and you held them, that part you saw for real;
But now stand back and take a look – as you relief now feel.

Thanks Holy Spirit for this.
