“When All The world’s Turned Downside-Up”

When all the world's turned down-side-up,
And people call out, "Hold! Enough!"
What peace and joy around they'll be,
For his and hers, and you and me.

For celebration's on today –
For life's been flipped, and turned our way;
Before, folks walked upon their hands,
Back-words at that on frozen lands.

But then, that's it nothing new to You,
For You see Gaza's torn-up loo –
Man's inhumanity in-deed –
Sad kids destroyed at mother's knee.

We see, and ask, "How that can be?"
Yet do it anti-septically,
As we progress from days of yore
To gleaming futures, craving more.

Well, Father-God and Holy Son;
You – Holy Spirit – three in Won –
How can we be so dense, and blind,
And foolish – like we've lost our minds!

The tasks laid out for us this day
Seem insignificant – to sway
These ocean-liners with our wake,
Seems ludicrous, ’least that's our take.

But way down deep wi’thin our souls
Springs up Your Spirit, somehow bold,
Which bids us take another look
Then has us make a digi-book–

About our public-private lives;
’Bout social life – how we survive
Upon this melting landscape here,
To rise again – de-spite our fear.

Okay Holy Spirit, thanks for that.
