“Our Common Humanity Re-viewed ” (Reflection on Oksana Yushko's Photography ) [Brandon Russia Tour Participant? - Interpretive Photography Series #1 ]

Humanity’s what comes to me
Through lenses, film – we come to see
Her world; our world; we meet once more
Ourselves, through her – her opened door.

She came with twelve to our wee town;
I don’t recall each one’s renown,
But that event, through GPT,
Brought her to life that we might see –

A world through lenses, tragic loss –
A world reborn with so much cost
To those who died in “needed” strife –
School’d started (closed in deadly fight).

Oksana’s photos touch us still,
As if of death, we’ve had our fill;
For death and evil still are found
In us today – the world around.

So, thank you for your in-sights clear;
Thanks for the folks whom you show here;
For in the mirror of those pics,
We see inside what needs be fixed.

Thanks Oksana for this.

Thanks Holy Spirit for This.
