“On The Brink Of Global Winter ” (On first encountering the photo work of Cara Ramiro ) [Interpretive Photography Series #1 ]

Her profile pic’s what says it most
To me as guest, and she as host –
Expressive – proud, with wounded grace;
White beads, black hair – defiant face.

She spoke of where she’s been and gone,
As life for her has moved along;
Amazing depth of here and now,
While words express a part of how –

She longs to bring two sides to piece (sic)
’Fore planetary life will cease
From faulty ways, approaches here,
Spread far and wide through global tears.

I liked her notion – things move on
As stories, songs, from days long gone
First form, re-form, then form again,
So hope wells up through autumn rain.

[Thanks Cara for your coming into my life with fresh views of our lives together on “Turtle Island”.]

Thanks Holy Spirit for this – all this!
