“Yesterday's Kin”

Each day we travel on this road as kin,
Our project doubles with results we win;
Five years of work (or so) got planted here,
Now harvest comes, results each day made clear.

Gestation doubles, then re-doubles work;
Results pour out – nine, fifteen months they took;
Two years, then three, then five – they burst out now,
With views of life this Kingdom-layer allows.

So much this cell on other folks depends,
As project shifts and startup portion ends;
I can de-junk, clean worksite, stop the drag;
Let good parts grow, emerge as gold from slag.

Lord, thanks for this small part of life in You;
Big for this project, but that point of view
Is in itself result of work that’s done –
Kite or the Kingdom-layer lets freedom run.

Thanks Lord for this.
