“The Upper Tier”
I have an upper tier
Within my garden scene,
Unused, though it’s laid out
From point of view I’d seen.But now I sense it’s where
My locus now should be;
Symbolic of the change
Unfolding now in me.It’s time to landscape there,
And from perspective found
View what was lived before,
On rich and fertile ground.For this is something new
For me – like Kingdom-layer;
I came that path to here
Your answer to my prayer.Lord, that’s perspective cool –
An image I can see;
Helps me two concepts hold
Within which both can be.Lord, what I hear – “Within
Jacques’ layer he will find
His mountain-height whose view
Is new world for his mind”.Thanks Lord for this.
