"To Stabilize"  [Reflections On Book  The Canadian Economy Series  B-11]

To stabilize the world we’re in
Within the realm of rampant sin,
Has interest, but at any rate,
One thing bids that I hesitate –

To choose my poison – big and small
We fuss and fix what is not tall,
While structured in long years ago
Are gains for some, with loss for all.

The giver-group works way ahead;
They’re working now by future’s led;
So fixing up our current mess?
Beside the point, I must confess.

For in behind the fronted scenes,
Shenanigans are played, which means
That factors on the table now
Just show us what they each allow.

So “TIP” to penalize each raise,
Stop hemorrhage as author says,
Might help – or not – who knows what’s seen –
They obfuscate like shells and beans.

“Deflation day” just hits the folks
Who daily live on chips and Cokes,
As protein is expense to dear
For ordinary folks – that’s clear.

Then scaling raises down to size,
Blames victims, thence they penalize
The workers with low paying jobs;
The others shipped abroad because –

It’s global now, so capital
Flows ’round the world, and stops until
Some scheme to take it from the rich
Emerges – then it’s time to switch –

Then, “Bingo!” They are out of here;
We’re left to mop up mess, paid dear
For what’s been done “All share the load”;
Yeah right – first hint and off they go!”

So what I hunch now needs to be
Is fuller view of what to see;
No chance of that I’d wager, yet,
It’s worth a try to info get.

Thanks Lord for this.
