All the insight in the world will stay
In its place, not see the light of day,
If it’s shut up in a person’s life –
Kept from men and women of the night.Andrew Murray preached, and led, and wrote
Several hundred books once he awoke
To the potency of Spirit life
Coursing through his veins, though out of sight.“Just like Noah’s flood”, he used to say,
“Springs from deep below welled up that day,
Mixed with flashing floods when rains came down –
Suddenly he saw his neighbors drown.“No, it matters not how Spirit comes –
Quiet from within, beneath for some;
Like torrential rains, tsunami’s surge;
Question – do you sense the Father urge –“You to make response to Spirit’s life?
Celebrate your shift from dark to light?
Feel release in holy Jubilee?
Ask you of your life now you are free?“Water in a pond is saved for use –
Irrigating crops once it’s set loose;
What of you and your photography?
Does the Spirit flow? Through pictures free –“Viewers who then sense the Spirit’s power?
Just like Murray’s writing by the hour,
Do you let the waters quench your thirst?
Then your viewers’ – yours just coming first?”Thanks Lord for this.
