"Greater Love?"  [Reflections on Book Capitalism Is Fallen, Elwin Kettner - Chap. 3a]

A lot of folks think laying down
One’s life is falling on the ground
When shot – it is of course, but then,
It’s more than that – it happens when –

You lay your good name in the dirt
Like jacket laid to those in skirts;
Or fetching sheep on ledge in storm,
When doing so leaves name forsworn.

Or giving place to other one
Who gets a seat and has the fun
Of learning what you’d love to learn,
So you can family-income earn.

But most of all, I’ve come to see
Lord Jesus’ name is all to me
That counts up here on Kingdom-layer –
In Him each one’s a major player.

My name, or pseudo-name, that is,
Gives me a chance in writing biz
To come up close to other folks
And lessons share with naming jokes.

My name for company on car
Received a thumbs-up from those who are
Engaged with recognition thus,
Instead of blame for local fuss.

Thanks Lord for this.
