In talking ’bout the end of it today,
He mentioned factor “X”, without its sway
They miss the point, for on the battlefield
An elephant remains – far from concealed.The cost in time and cash is part of it;
It’s in exchange for those they then remit
Hope in small packages for all who sign
In for a spell, despite how long a time –They bide therein, it’s there for all who come
Fresh out of school, but also there are some
Who stop their journey on through life to think
How best to finish well, before the brink.Hope is the gift that’s given most to each;
Not just the content, social net, and reach
Up to next level of performance in their lives –
Hope carries all – a reason to survive.Lord, as we press to make a better world
From Kingdom-layer, or down amidst the whirl,
Give us Your hope of Kingdom come on earth;
Your will be done – for all, a second birth.Thanks Lord for this.
