"Getting The Right Questions " [Community Contribution Set Of Poems]

Lord, chart I made these days just passed,
Details, then simplifies the past;
But does not “pop” the future moves
For us, just shows the present grooves.

Four themes (about) stream up to here,
Depict four aspects, make them clear;
Some interweaving there, of course,
With “Source and use of funds”, “Resource”.

A run-through Scripture basic is
From Sandy days – in riches biz
Of living here – now Kingdom-layer
Details to grow as Kingdom-player.

Then photo-interplay for me –
“Eight hours a day” – its way to be
En route when I grind into ground
A way for me to move around.

The Holy Spirit’s flow through life
For family, me, and for my wife;
Clear interventions part way through
Our journey, hand-in-hand with You.

Then quest with Kingdom’s world in biz,
With inter-twining strands – it is
A Wonderland quite upside down;
A world not entered, though around.

Lord on my walk here yesterday,
That question (first came into play
At ordination time for me),
“What could your motivation be?”

Though “leading” in its asking tone,
I had no issue – though they roamed
Away from text with its intent,
You bid me answer what it meant –

My motive? What? – “Zeal for the life
On Kingdom-layer?” – Indeed! All right!
That thrills me still – I long to see
Folks on that layer, in love, with Thee.

I still believe in parish scene;
I saw a potential as a teen;
Committed self to bring that in
To real life – church life begin.

I’ve lived, applied the Kingdom-life
On earth, directed by Your light;
Of course, they said “No” endlessly;
I’ve stuck it fast, this life in Thee.

Then lately I saw “Kingdom-layer”
Twixt earth and heaven for Kingdom-players;
“Recalculate, recalculate”
Emerged for me, in life, of late.

So questions in my mind remain –
What role’s for me? What stage of change
Exists for folks around me now?
How do I foster that somehow?

What comes to mind? Two questions now –
Which Andrew Murray showed us – how
You asked us inter-actively
If we would interactive be.

“What have you from God’s hand received?
From prayer, what do you now believe
Is yours – a gift from God above,
Delivered to your door in love?”

Ask for that thing – delivery
Accept from God, and it will be
To you, for you – accept and take
It to your life – there integrate –

It into life – both work and play;
Learn how to use it day by day;
If some assembly’s first required,
Then set things up, be God-inspired.

The second instance of this way
Of life in interactive play,
Concerns what we would have God do,
And if we’re in His actions too.

“What are you willing (actively)
I do for you – what could it be?”
That’s what Christ bids us think about –
Then ask – when there is no more doubt –

That we will also be involved
In actions taken – problem solved
By Jesus in our lives today –
Gifts given the interactive way.

What also comes to mind – one thing –
Restrictions – central – context brings
On operations – Kingdom-layer
Resolves each one for Kingdom-players.

Ah! That’s the question base for me!
Keep focus there and then I’ll see
What needs be done to move things on
In life – my “Hope” and “How to” song.
