"Next" [Module#459] (Mark 16:14-18)
It’s strange – I feel I’m starting out
In this small part – it’s all about
What happened in transition-time,
When Christ brought folks back into line.My thesis-modules (basis here)
Are done – now this small part appears
Quite different from the early part,
For here His guys would now depart.There is a shift in tone, I sense,
To “Hit the road in My defense –
But more than that, bring others in;
Encourage them to turn from sin.“That’s sin as in rebellion from
Our Father-God – stop being dumb,
But rather, reverse Adam’s choice –
To Jesus give commitment’s voice.”So, Kingdom? Yes, that’s great for me;
It took so long for me to see;
I am naïve – I feel the folks
Will hear, respond, apply their notes.But that’s a pipe-dream in the sky –
I dream in Technicolor – why?
Because folks still, like Adam’s lie,
Reject the Christ, prefer to die.Lord, help me stay connected here
To You, on Kingdom-layer clear;
And do Your bidding, in Your Name –
Invite, disciple, just the same.Thanks Lord for this.
