I see, O Lord, in final chap.
An exit-interview, and that
You summed up task You did on earth,
At time of death from time of birth.There’s forty-seven items here
(My count – so I’m must make this clear,
That this is only my spin on
This chapter, ’fore You’d that night gone).My friend is close to this as well
(An exit interview) – He’ll tell
About his job, his dozen years –
The times of victory or tears.So glory here to God is given
By Christ, for He returned to heaven –
“I got ’er done”, gave glory to
The Father, ’least from Jesus’ view.The Babel-gift had antidote
Through this event – above the smoke
And dust of world and its affairs,
Christ made our way to Kingdom-layer.And showed us all about that place,
And how to live there by His grace;
How we could move about, be free,
To do His this-and-that’s like me.So, Lord, this piece is wonder-full;
Our place in it is bountiful,
As we access the Father’s coin,
And with Son’s work, our efforts join.Thanks Lord for this.
