"Abiding Fruit" [Module#446] (John 18:2-3; Matt.26:45-47)
Our turf is one assigned to us,
Resources for that come
To us as we fulfill such work,
And Father’s where they’re from.Abiding fruit, work which won’t fail,
Is standard of our craft;
God resources such craftsmanship,
Eternal’s what will last.Lord, as I look now at this part
Of life which You have given,
I find the Kingdom-layer above
Has changed as it has risen –Above Earth’s blocks, what it forbids
The earth and all its kin,
As freedom comes with Kingdom-life
It’s changed – now life begins.Lord, all those parts for dancing ’round
The obstacles below,
Are true, but up here, what’s their worth?
Of that I’d like to know.I sense they’re partly right, but now
Their emphasis is changed;
For now, in freedom we can live,
Resourced and rearranged.Lord, open up our eyes from here
As we wrap up this work,
Reflecting on these modules,
That we not just be jerks –But rather, do Your will on earth,
Albeit on this layer;
Help to max out potential here,
As Jesus’ Kingdom-players.Thanks Lord for this.
