"Asleep At The Switch" [Module#445] (Matt. 26:44 etc)
So what’s Christ do when we’re asleep,
Through crisis which is ours?
He walks away and lets us be,
Engaging satan’s powers.There is a point when we top up
To max we can take in,
Then others have to walk away
And let the games begin.When we are filled by Spirit’s work,
Take action from that place,
It ripples, ricochets around,
In ways just God can trace.So too with Kingdom-life on layer
Above the world we know –
There’s ripples, ricochets in life,
In Kingdom and below.One time a fellow said to me,
“The T-R’s don’t step in
To research Spirit in the mix,
Respectfully”, he grinned.I think the Kingdom’s much that way,
Above on separate layer;
We do not mess with cultured world –
Hands off as Kingdom-player.But we reserve for us the right
To mustache up each pix
Up on our layer – and speak our mind,
To situations fix –In ways seen only in the light
Beneath the acetate,
Which shows the pack of overheads
As one, held firm with tape.The whole is what is real, of course,
All’s in the light revealed;
Live and let live each other’s world,
As we before Christ kneel.So come on up on Kingdom-ground,
No blockages up here;
I used to heed all that below,
But now my way’s made clear.Thanks Lord for this.
