"Sap" [Module#417]  (John 15:7)

“If you remain in Me”, You said that night,
“Just ask for what you wish to wage the fight,
And if My rhema-words abide in you,
The wish which you express is what I’ll do.”

’Cause if you don’t remain, you’ll be cut out,
As barren branches are – they’re cast about
Until, dried up, they are for others, fuel
For tasks they’d like to do, because they’re cool.

The reason? Sap that flows from trunk of vine,
It makes the fruit, and keeps the branches fine;
When that’s cut off, you’re out there on your own,
In world, or Kingdom-layer that is your home.

So Kingdom-layer is the place to be
If Christ’s perspective you would like to see;
For sap from vine is something else again –
Abide in Him, and in His life remain.

Thanks Lord for this.
