"Love" [Module#421]  (John 15:12-13)

When someone lays their life down
For you, what do you do?
Why, leverage it to Kingdom,
New layer made for you.

Sometimes the action’s quiet,
Like mothers for their kids;
Sometimes its cost is total,
Of cash once meant to live.

Sometimes, like in the forces,
A life itself’s laid down;
Sometimes it’s more civilian,
Save someone lest he drowns.

You can’t repay such actions
For they are part of life;
So focus on the future,
And present – day or night?

To leverage such actions,
Take stock of who you are;
And shift into the Kingdom,
Where options plenty are.

Then interface with Jesus,
The Master of the scene;
And ask, “What are some options
For life as a human being?

He’ll take you where He finds you,
And grace your life into
A higher form of living
Than you could do as you.

For I have no idea
The things He’d have in store;
Just do it and surprise us,
For life’s what giving’s for.

Thanks Lord for this.
