"Idea" [Module#398] (John 14:5)
An old idea “Kingdom” was
In Jewish lore, that was because
God’s Kingdom was before the throne
Of David – predates Temple-home.But that was pushed aside a while
So Israelites could have the style
Their neighbors had – when that was through,
They did not know quite what to do.So Father said to Son – go there
And use it as a base – prepare
The folks who want to live My love
There on the earth, but step above –Not in a status sense, but peace
Within their lives, so once released
They’re free to live My words out well
On earth, no sweat – an easy sell.For three years Jesus worked and taught,
And in the end through death he bought
Them Kingdom-space, and route into
A Kingdom-layer, for me and you.Thanks Lord for this.
