"Where I'm Going You Cannot Come" [Module#391]  (John 13:33)

When waterfalls ahead are known,
Survival, as in sinking stone,
Or floating log, or churning brine,
Are hid by mists ’till tumble-time.

But sometimes it’s just not our turn;
We stop, get out, for safety yearn,
Or we get told, as in this tome,
“You cannot come – so head off home.

“Just keep on keeping on”, some say,
Whose route has taken them away,
Like those once lost at sea for days –
Keep hope – you’ll often be amazed.

But then, of course, as one man quipped,
In battle, or in plane, or ship,
“It only hurts if you survive –
Then celebrate – for you’re alive.

Thanks Lord for this.
