"Righteousness" [Module#355] (Matt.25:32-46)
On Kingdom-layer a sorting comes
Way down the line for all –
Sheep and the goats to left and right,
Unrighteous take the fall.For righteous ones by faith live out
Their lives above the earth,
But Lordship is a part of it
Beyond just second birth.If he says, “Help some neighbor out
Who’s deeply troubled life
Needs help today just as you did,
Go ease their massive strife” –And you ignore that, every day
Sit back, enjoy the view
Up on the Kingdom’s layered place,
It’s woe ahead for you.Christ longs to know us heart-to-heart
As we His body are;
It’s how He shows His love today
Through us who live not far –From those in need – we live next door,
We pass them on the path;
He needs us to reach out and touch
Such persons when He asks.That’s why it’s called a “Kingdom” now –
He’s King, and Lord, and guide;
So get up off your comfy chair
And join His winning side.We have a section of the road
To work as we grow old;
Attend to it, good days and bad,
Help others with their load.And when at last the evening comes,
And life on earth shall end,
Stand humbly with the herd that day,
For with one group you’ll blend.So, bottom line, attend your Lord
When He calls out to you;
Perhaps you do not notice those
He has assigned to you.But that’s okay, you will in time,
Most unexpected those
Who come into your layered-life –
Ones best for you He knows.Resources come for tasks assigned
To us, so stay alert;
Don’t squander them on useless stuff,
And treat resource like dirt.For time is scarce for those on earth
(Eased up on Kingdom-layer),
And money also comes and goes
With interactive prayer.So, Stu, what is your piece of road
Now ministry is done?
Its finance, economics, cash,
