“Easter Prayer" [Module#361] (John 12:21-26)
There was this lone-ly seed one day
Which by itself in storage lay
All polished, with potential great
But that was all, for Goodness’ sake.And then it died, was buried too,
Then came to life, provided food;
Unless the seed dies to itself,
It bides alone there on the shelf.Christ was that way – when Greeks arrived
He said, “You feed them – you’re alive
I’m not, I’m dying, yet to rise,
To reign with you from paradise.Then to the Kingdom; made the King;
Invited us our lives to bring
Up onto Kingdom-layer now,
So free we’d be, for He allows –Us to live life on Kingdom-layer,
Freed up from blocks, and bleak despair;
I’d tried to live His will out here
On earth – impossible – that’s clear.But now I see it – let that go;
Join Him on Kingdom-layer and know
Release of who we are in Him,
And, life renewed that we begin –To live at last His will for us;
To find clay pots, not merely dust,
With Spirit-treasure live within;
O Lord, it’s great to now begin.It’s money that is used on earth
To lubricate transactions’ birth,
That’s just a tool, not all there is,
For now there’s Kingdom-layered biz.So Lord, I come; will be with You,
To do Your will, from point of view
Which Kingdom-layer opens up;
Freed by Your love – in that’s enough –For me to move on from this place,
So stopped, and blocked, as in this case;
I long to move on in Your will
On Kingdom-layer – may Spirit fill –Us all each day as we move on;
This Easter time may we belong
To You in life renewed this day
To press our futures in Your way.Thanks Lord for this.
