"What Image Now For This?"

“What image, Lord, for this, is now
For us to take, work with somehow
So in the end Your will gets done?
For this is not a lot of fun.”

I asked this question lots before,
But now from Kingdom-layer more
Than I had seen, I’m free to be
Myself in this calamity.

For there before my eyes I’d seen
An inner group in process mean
Play out their vision, mean indeed,
And knock at my friend from noble steed.

And then it came – or more, like as they –
First, tag-team wrestling – tag and play;
Take tag with hand stretched into ring,
So he can reach – assistance bring –

For when a tag-team wrestler’s tagged,
The challenge shifts – where contest had
Come to some end, nowhere to go,
A tag for teammate – then one knows –

The game though tough, with shift a while,
New wrestler comes to ring with smile,
And says, “Hey buddy we move on –
Your certain win there, Satan’s, gone.”

And what of others at the church
Now left distinctly in the lurch?”
He said, “Like soccer – it’s a team –
He passed the ball to teammates keen.

“Don’t worry ’bout them, they’re okay,
There in My layered Kingdom, they
Will grow, move on, take legacy
To other teams I have, you’ll see.

“Don’t be so narrow in your view;
The game’s long-term, and season too;
Each year or so a shuffle comes,
And with new players each one runs.”

Okay, O Lord, the part I hear
For me is “Tag-team” so, stay near
To take the tag, and carry on
Where friend’s now lying on the ground.

“Find out his vision, what’s complete;
What need he sees in mock defeat
As yet in context here to do –
Then wrap things up for him, in you.

Thanks Lord for this.
